LABORATORIUM, FAMILY, BAUHAUS, AND THE HYDRA OF BABYLON, OPENING EXHIBITIONS!Art, culture and lovers of peace! This September’s Miracle Mile Art Walk “GALLERY NIGHT OUT” is Saturday, September 12, 4:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. in Los Angeles, CA. Also on the schedule; Indigo Project’s collaboration with CHALK4PEACE featuring Nickelodeon's Drake Bell, The Deserters, Anne Montone, Dirty Mercy and more. This FREE event is sponsored by Mid City West Community Council, the Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Council and LACMA.
4:30 pm -- DNJ Gallery -- 154 1/2 North La Brea Ave. - ARTIST TALK with photographer, Chris Verene. Verene, from Galesburg, Illinois, has been photographing his family and friends since 1984 and has committed to this project for the duration of his life. Light refreshments provided by DNJ Gallery.

4:30 -- 7:00pm - Tobey C. Moss Gallery -- 7321 Beverly Blvd. Special MMAW preview of works by Bauhaus educated, German-American painter and print maker, Werner Drewes (1899-1985) show opens Monday, Sept. 14.
4:30 -- 9:00pm -- Couturier Gallery -- 166 N. La Brea Ave. Presenting Laboratorium, an installation of new works by Cuban artists Carlos Estévez and Elsa Mora.
5:00 pm -- Perrell Fine Art -- 145 North La Brea Ave. Open until 9:00 pm ARTIST TALK with Paul Kirley. Beverages provided by Perrell Fine Art.

Camille Rose Garcia will speak about her exhibit, The Hydra of Babylon. 6:30 pm Reception and ARTIST TALK for Miracle Mile Art Walk, sponsored by Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Council. Followed by a private, invitation only reception from 7:00 - 8:00. Public reception from 8:00 - 11:00pm, hosted by Brody Dalle.
